Library of Congress – Veterans History Project
Motivated by the urgent need to collect the stories and experiences of war veterans while they are still among us, the U.S. Congress created the Veterans History Project in October 2000. The legislation calls upon the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress to collect and preserve audio- and video-taped oral histories, along with documents such as letters, diaries, maps, photographs, and home movies, of America’s war veterans and those who served in support of them during World War I, World War II, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf wars.

VHFCN (The Vietnam Helicopter Flight Crew Network)
The Vietnam Helicopter Flight Crew Network (VHFCN)is a non profit veterans organization dedicated to the fulfillment of the following purposes: To provide a forum for recreational communications amongst a fraternity of aircrew members who served in Vietnam during the period 1961-75. Topics cover the entire spectrum from Vietnam to reunions and everything in between.

VHPA (Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association)
The Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association is a nonprofit war veterans organization. It is dedicated to the fulfillment of the following purposes: To enhance and accredit the cohesiveness, esprit de corps, and traditions of valor of rotary wing aircrews that flew in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam Era.

Heli-Vets
Heli-Vets is group of Vietnam Veterans from all services who were pilots or crewmembers of helicopters during the Vietnam Conflict. We have banded together on the Internet to provide information about helicopters and the people who served on them.

Combat Helicopters Pilot’s Association
Welcome to the Combat Helicopter Pilots Association web page. CHPA is a new Veterans organization open to any individual who piloted helicopters in combat for any of the US Armed Forces. We were incorporated in the District of Columbia on January 7, 2005, and are currently working on obtaining 501(c) 19 status from the IRS. We are an organization with both a local and national focus. Over the next year, local and state chapters will be formed across the country. These chapters will provide an opportunity for members to meet and socialize with other veteran helicopter pilots close to home. On the national level, CHPA will provide veterans service functions to our members including job mentoring and guidance in dealing with the VA.

THE PATRIOT GUARD
The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and their friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

THE VIRTUAL WALL
Since March, 1997, the Virtual Wall honors the 58,220 men and women named on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Each name or photo on our index pages links to a personal memorial, either on this site or on personal web sites elsewhere. This site is not a complete database of Vietnam War casualties, it links only to memorials.

THE MOVING WALL VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL
The Moving Wall” is the half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans Memorial that has been touring the country for the past 16 years. When John Devitt attended the 1982 dedication in Washington, he felt the positive power of “The Wall”. He vowed to share that experience with those who did not have the opportunity to go to Washington.

Sons And Daughters In Touch
To locate, unite and provide support to Sons, Daughters and other family members of those who died or remain missing as a result of the Vietnam War; to produce a quarterly newsletter providing important information to all SDIT stakeholders; to promote healing via networking and special projects, to regularly address high schools and college classes in hopes of providing education on the historical and emotional legacy of war.

Army Air Crews
This site is dedicated to the men and women of the United States Army’s Aviation Branch who paid the ultimate price for freedom and liberties enjoyed today by all Americans, and to their families. The purpose of the site is not to dwell on the sorrow of losing young American lives, but to memorialize and pay tribute to all those who have been touched by an American soldier.

American Huey 369
American Huey 369 Organization is formed for the specific purpose of preserving Huey Aircraft 369 (serial# 70-16369) and Huey Aircraft 803 / Warrior 11 (serial# 63-08803) to flying museum aircraft that with it’s members will educate all generations to the history of the American made Huey in Vietnam and it’s last 50 years of service in the U.S. Military, while accomplishing this purpose, our organization will be paying tribute to ALL VETERANS, especially Vietnam Veterans and their families and will NEVER forget those Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country!
Our mission provides all Veterans / Patriots a chance to become members (active or inactive) in the preservation of these Icon Hueys
